Lazer Lock Ice Sapphire is Everi's offering to join the "Hold & Spin" revolution popularized by Lightning Link and truth be told, this version is very similar to Lightning Link Magic Pearl and Lightning Link High Stakes although it does add some nice stylish touches that really add to the game and in typical Everi fashion, the graphic design, sound effects, and music are all top notch!
The primary game is a lines-based game where you win by landing the same symbol on a payline on 2 or more reels, depending on the symbol, on adjacent reels from left to right. To help, stacked wilds appear on reels 2 thru 5.
The "Respin Bonus" is triggered by landing 6 or more bonus symbols just like in Lightning Link, or if you are in the bonus, if you land the singular bonus symbol on the gigantic reel, once again just like in Lightning Link. A great touch is that the symbols you land are either Mini or Minor credit awards or the Major or Grand Progressives or they are color-coded and can award values as follows:
Red: 500 - 5000 credits x bet multiplier
Green: 100 - 250 credits x bet multiplier
Yellow: 50 credits x bet multiplier
When you land red symbols, you know you will receive something good! Upon trigger, you are awarded 3 spins which resets back to 3 each time you land at least one additional symbol. Your bonus ends when you run out of spins or you Fill the Screen with bonus symbols for the Top Award, the Grand Progressive!
The "Free Spins Bonus" is triggered by landing 3 or more scattered bonus symbols for 8 initial spins. During the bonus, reels 2, 3, and 4 are combined into one gigantic reel which will always fully land a single symbol, including the Respin Bonus symbol or the Free Spin bonus symbol, which would retrigger your bonus for an additional 6 spins.

So what do i get for needing 6 credit prize discs. At least you made a profit for the machine. These slot machines are all almost exact copies of each other. Too bad the companies don't make their progressive amounts different in some way.
