The Year of the Snake slot machine by Ainsworth is an interesting game!

And for fans of Ainsworth, it's a great one! Year of the Snake is part of their "Double Hit Progressives" family of slots which reward 5-reel hits of the same symbol, where the Major Progressive can be in the thousands for a 5-reel line hit of premium symbols without a wild symbol. Besides the 5-reel hit, you also need the special "Double Hit" outline symbol in reel 5 for the progressive to be awarded.

The bonus is triggered by landing 3 or more bonus symbols for 10 Free Games where you're randomly awarded either the "Stacked Symbol Feature" or the "Replace Symbol Feature". In the former, the wild "Prosperity" symbol fills reel 5 for your bonus. Stacks of wilds can also land in reels 3 and 4. In the "Replace Symbol Feature", reel 5 also remains wild throughout the bonus and any wild that lands in reels 2 or 4 turns that entire reel wild. In addition, a special wild Firecracker symbol can now land in reel 3 and if it does, will multiply any line hit by x1, x2, or x3! Retriggers are possible in both features by landing an additional 2 or more bonus symbols, Enjoy!

Oh yes, the worst part is the thought that "well its taken so much and done nothing it has to go off" these days I rarely play and when I do I avoid old favourites, hi major jackpots and go for machines that have just paid out, agree on your 400 mark , after that the hole is only deeper and its never the way ouy

Made the foolish mistake of playing this machine as at our local when you know the locals its courtesy to reserve a machine you have lost your bank in for someone you know, the nice lady before me pulled out at $2800 dollars no win over $40 no feature on max bet !!! It then rinsed me within 35 minutes for $980 on $1.25 and $2.50 bets no win over $20 no feature ! Moral of the story do not gamble in Australia
