The Twice the Money Gold Award Series slot machine by Ainsworth expands on the original!
Although truth be told, this version really isn't much different than the original. The base game is a lines-based game where you win by landing winning paylines although the reel fun is with the bonus, which is triggered by landing 3 or more bonus symbols for 10 free games.
Upon bonus trigger, the reel set expands to twice its normal size although your total lines remain the same, so the main advantage I see with this larger reel set is for your ability to retrigger although after you watch this video, you may question that logic!
During the free games, you then need 3 or more additional bonus symbols to trigger the "Twice the Money Feature" which awards you 5 additional spins and for the remainder of your bonus, the 3rd reel wild symbols become multipliers from 2x to 8x according to the following:
Free Games:
1 to 4: 2x,
5 to 8: 4x,
9 to 10: 8x
11 to 15: 8x (if triggered).

They replaced a bunch of Ainsworth at my local with "new" machines, turned out to be howling wolf (came out in 2016? I think) they made a big deal out of it being new to the casino so I gave it a try and won 100 bucks on a 60c bet 5th spin in. I thought the machine broke but then it did the hyperspin. I was going to give Ainsworth a chance after hearing from you that you enjoyed them but it was too late! Ah well the replacement is cool.

Twice the Money -- two wins in under 5 minutes of play. The first one was especially nice with 4 trigger symbols and 10 free games to give you $83.65. Second session was nice too -- first spin bonus and 5 triggers. I bet if you'd tried a third session you'd really have cashed in there too. You make it look easy.
