The Ruby Star slot machine by WMS is an interesting game!
And unlike many slots, Ruby Star has 6 reels instead of the usual 5, with 2 of the 6 made randomly wild for any paid game. To trigger the bonus you need to land between 3 and 4 scattered bonus symbols for 8 or 15 free spins respectively.
Upon bonus trigger, whichever reels were wild will remain wild throughout the remainder of your bonus and another of the remaining reels will be randomly chosen to also be wild! This of course can present some interesting scenarios, and it's obviously best to trigger the bonus with reels 1 and 2 wild! I've not been crazy about this particular line of WMS titles since they came out ( there's a lot of different clones in the line that have subtle differences). Line pays are pretty low and the bonus is relatively difficult to hit and seems to be mediocre at best. The one redeeming thing about them is that since they are lower volatility you can usually play for a little while on them before they clean you out or you get bored and leave about even 🤣 You actually did better than I thought you would by leaving a bit ahead-- so that was fun!

Pretty nice win on Ruby Stars. I've played her a time or two myself even though I always felt the game should pay more since there are always two reels on every spin. I think the bonus trigger needs to come up more often. Look how long that took.
