Like many retro slots, Rakin' It In pays Huge when landing the Top Symbol on a payline but of course it's really hard to do. Besides landing winning paylines, you can win by landing 3, 4, or 5 scatter symbols for 5, 25, or 200 times your bet respectively!
There are two other bonuses in Rakin' It In: 3 money tree bonus symbols on an active payline triggers the Money Tree Bonus where you pick money to reveal credit awards, squirrels, or owls. Finding the squirrel increases the value of the money on the tree. Finding an owl removes money from the tree. The bonus ends when there is no more money on the tree. Here are the money values:
Coins: 15
Bills: 30, 40, 50
Moneybags: 60, 80, 100
Safes: 120, 150, 200
The Plant a Money Tree Bonus is triggered by landing 3 acorn symbols on a payline where the bonus awards 6-7 money bills that each pay between 10 and 100 credits. If a plant sprouts an acorn, dog bone, or gold coin, a new tree grows. Up to three trees can be grown in the bonus.

That’s great you were able to get your money back and come out a little bit ahead. Once again these old school games are the best and there’s nothing that compares to them! I really liked this old WMS slot that arcade history says came out in 2001. 18 years ago - Wow. no wonder we don't see it in the casinos. There are 2 bonus - the Money Tree Bonus and the Plant a Money Tree Bonus.
In the first bonus, the man and his dog are working in the yard, and in the first level, the money tree is filled with coins. The player picks credit coins until he finds all the owls instead of the squirrels. When he finds a squirrel, (good) the coins change to bills for level 2. Find another squirrel, the bills change to money bags for level 3. Find one more squirrel and they change to safes with big wins in the final level. If he finds an owl (bad) instead of a squirrel, the owl steals the item and removes other ones from the tree. The bonus ends when all the money is gone.
Find three golden acorns, and you play the second bonus which involves planting sapling money trees. The player chooses to be the man, the dog or the squirrel. The tree drops credits which are vacuumed up. This was such a fun game, and my husband and I played it often when we first moved to California. Where did you ever find this old game, Tim? I haven't seen it in years. You've got a tremendous library of slots. Love 'em all.
