The progressive feature is activated by getting the special "Monster Progressives" symbol in the third reel after which a special horizontal reel is spun to either award between one and five extra wilds in your base game or the progressive feature which guarantees at least one progressive ranging from about $10 to over $2500, at least on the version I played which had a $4 max bet.
The bonus game is activated by getting at least three bonus symbols scattered to award 8 free spins with more and more special "reveal" symbols added as your free games progress, giving you a greater chance to fill the screen! There are no Monster Progressive special bonus symbols during the bonus although you can retrigger for more spins at even higher multipliers!
Like many of these newer games, they can grind you down although I found this one to at least be enjoyable!

We generally classify generic jackpots to prevent confusion in this order as those fictional jackpot names seem kind of pointless except with MINI-MINOR-MAXI-MAJOR-GRAND. The least valuable jackpot is the MINI & the most valuable jackpot is the GRAND. The Mummy as MINI, The Bride of Frankenstein as MINOR, Wolfman as MAXI, Frankenstein as MAJOR, and Dracula as GRAND.
