While there have been follow-ups to the original Money Rain classic, Money Rain 2 is the official sequel played on a large screen. It's loud and it's fun: a great successor!

The fundamental play mechanics of Money Rain 2 are identical to the original: you win by landing 5 or more of the same symbol on the unique reel set and if you land any special dollar sign symbols, the Money Reel feature is triggered, although this time there's a twist with it!

The twist is that besides immediately resolving what the dollar sign symbols are replaced with, you can also land either a green or red arrow, where the green are will expand the reels by two rows and the red arrow by four rows! If you land one of these features, the reel positions spin and if any more dollar sign symbols land, the Money Reel is spun again to resolve all dollar sign instances!

The bonus is triggered by landing 3, 4, or more than 5 bonus symbols for 10, 15, or 20 free spins. The bonus plays identical to the original game, except now special Lightning Bolt symbols are added and if you collect 7, 8, 9, or 10 of them you will be award the Rumble, Boom, Crash, or Thunder Progressives respectively, where the Thunder Progressive is a very nice $5,000 on the version I played: quite nice for a $2.50 bet!
