The Double Hit family is in many ways similar to their Quad Shot Progressives line although it's a bit simpler in that progressives are only awarded for 5-reel line hits that utilize the "Double Hit" overlay symbol in reel 5 but only for non-wild line hits. 5-reel line hits that utilize wild symbols still give you an extra award, called a "Bonus Prize" which is a fixed value of either $10 or $50 depending on what type of reel-hit you land. Once again, the number of "Double Hit" overlay symbols is proportional to your bet, so you can't gain an advantage by betting low with respect to the Progressives or Bonus Prizes. The bonus is triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 bonus symbols for 10, 15, or 25 free spins- and the fact that you can can trigger for more free spins with more bonus symbols is a feature I really like. Retriggers are possible for 3 or more bonus symbols for an additional 5 spins. During the bonus, any line hit with a wild symbol is doubled, with the exception of Progressives and Bonus Prizes. In addition, Gold and Silver Propeller symbols pay mixed and if a same color propeller win occurs, the highest win from either the Mixed or Same color pay tables is paid. Confused? That was just a fancy way of saying that the Mixed propeller pay for a three-reel hit is awarded as it's HIGHER than for either 3 Gold or 3 Silver propellers, which is a bit odd but of course welcome! The bonus uses a different set of reels with more wilds I believe to have been added to help the cause. We really had a fun time with this one, Enjoy!
