Double Hit Progressives Double Impact Slot Machine is similar to the "Quad Shot Progressives" slots you may have seen, where the goal is to get 5 of a kind line wins with a special "double hit" symbol and ideally without a wild symbol, to win the higher awards.
In order to be awarded a progressive, you need a 5-of-a-kind without a wild but with the "double hit' symbol in the 5th reel. There are also Major and Minor bonus prizes, you need a 5-of-a-kind but can have a wild symbol, but still need the "double hit" symbol.
Once initiating the bonus, a new "Golden Dragon" symbol is introduced, which can also allow the player to be awarded Major or Minor bonus prizes depending on whether or not a wild was involved. Also during the bonus, any line win with a wild dragon is a 2x win although these wild dragon symbols only appear on reels 2, 3, and 4. Retriggers are possible with three "Gong" bonus symbols for 5 additional respins.

I can see the similarity to the Quad Shot games. They must both made by Ainsworth. I guess the double hit symbol on the 5th real is now a double symbol analogous to the double sweet zone symbols in the new Ainsworth games? This was not a bad game. We just hoped it would be better.
