Even though I do peruse the instructions of each game I play before I play it, sometimes only after playing do you really understand what's going on, and such was the case with Cash Odyssey Robinson Crusoe, a really fun game with Jackpot potential!
The base game is a lines-based game where you win by landing winning combinations on paylines - wilds are stacked to help. There are two special features in the game which is where the real fun begins: the Cash Odyssey Feature and the Free Games Feature.
The Cash Odyssey Feature is triggered by landing either a Cash Odyssey or Cash Odyssey Jackpot symbol on both reels 2 and 4. On both of these reels, the center positions are outlined in red and the top and bottom positions are outlined in blue. Depending on where you land these symbols determines how the Cash Odyssey Feature is activated:
Both Symbols in Red borders: The whole screen is transformed into Cash Odyssey Bonus symbols:
Both Symbols in Blue Borders: Reels 2 and 4 are Transformed into Cash Odyssey Bonus symbols.
One Symbol in the Red Border and One in the Blue Border: 4 Reels are transformed into Cash Odyssey Bonus symbols, depending on which side you landed the symbol in the red border.
Progressives or Bonus Prizes are awarded if you can land Cash Odyssey Jackpot symbols in reels 2 and 4: if you land them both in red-bordered reel positions you will be awarded the Grand or Major Progressive, depending on whether you also land the special Gold Globe symbol in reel 3 in addition! Mini or Minor Bonus Awards will be awarded if both or one of the Cash Odyssey Jackpot symbols lands in the blue-bordered reel positions. So yes, just where was that Gold Globe for the Grand Progressive?!
The Free Games Feature is triggered by landing 3 or more bonus symbols for 8 free games with retriggers possible for 5 additional spins by landing just 2 additional bonus symbols. During the bonus, anytime a Cash Odyssey or Cash Odyssey Jackpot symbol lands in just reel 2 or reel 4, the Respin feature is triggered where the reel that landed the special Cash Odyssey symbol is held and all other reels respin giving you a shot to trigger the Cash Odyssey feature or score a Progressive!
All in all, what a great game although once again, where was that Gold Globe on reel 3?! Enjoy!

i like your videos because you don't do bait thumbnails...what you see is what you are playing and what you are getting on the reels...some of these folks do a thumbnail and they show all the wilds or all of the bonus symbols and that's annoying....

Some of these ainsworth games are really cool and have interesting bonus concepts as does this one. Love how the jackpot symbols give a bunch of credit prizes for big wins! That was a great line hit in the jackpot feature, that and the bonus was cool to see thanks so much for sharing Tim!

@TheBigPayback Hey TBP, I'm curious about the breaks you take after you get a bonus or a big hit... I notice you cut the video but come back with the same credit balance. Is this some kind of strategy you have implemented? And if so, could you explain it or maybe make a video on it or something. It seems, in your videos at least, you're hitting bonuses pretty quickly after starting to play again so I'd definitely be interested to hear your method if you're willing to share!
